Harbor House Rec Gymnastics!
Gymnastics is now being offered at Harbor House! Kari Leach, an experienced competitive gymnastics coach, will be offering instruction to children Pre-K through 4th grade. 8 week session starting September 22nd- November 14th.
- $40 Pre-K & K Fridays 3:30-4:15 pm
- $40 grades 1 & 2 Fridays 4:30-5:30 pm
- $45 grades 3 & 4 Mondays 5-6pm
Pre-Registration is encouraged as space is limited to 12 in each group.

8:30 am at the Causeway Club in Southwest Harbor.
The Brennen Lowe Memorial Golf tournament is in memory of young Brennen Lowe who lost his battle with cancer several years ago.

Youth Sports
Youth Soccer starts onSeptember 13th on the Pemetic field.
- 1st & 2nd grade 9-10 am
- 3rd, 4th & 5th grade 10-11am
Practice times will be the following:
- Pre-K & K will be every Monday from 4-5pm starting September 15th
- 1st & 2nd grade Mondays from 4-5pm
- 3rd, 4th & 5th grade Tuesday & Friday 4-5pm
A game schedule will be given out on
September 13th.

Youth Center
The Harbor House Underground will be reopened on Tuesday, September 2nd.
Hours will be Monday -Friday from 3-5:30pm. This FREE program is for kids in grades 3-8! Transportation from Tremont will be provided.
Remember that the Underground is open on early release, professional development days and most vacations.

Children's Center 
Another school year has begun at Harbor House Children's Center!
Our staff has been busy arranging classrooms and making plans for a great year. Now in our 30th year of providing early care and education for the families of Mount Desert Island, we welcome children from 18 months until kindergarten. Each of our classrooms has a circle time every morning that is developmentally appropriate and includes songs, finger plays and stories based on the weekly theme. Our program is based on Maine's Early Learning Guidelines, which means that when the time comes your child will be excited and ready for the transition to public school. We are open from 6:30am to 5:30pm and will work to arrange a schedule that fits your family's needs. To learn more or to arrange a visit, contact Mary Ellen at 244-9824
