Southwest Harbor Fire 5 (Ret) Captain Harold Hall, signed off this morning.
He retired “some years” back but he always kept in touch and he never missed the chance to gab your ear off on the street or from across the room of a local eatery. You could always count on him to be sitting on Main Street cheering his SWHBR Fire and Tremont Fire families on, at every parade.
Harold loved his Fire Service family and we loved him back.
To try and capture Hal’s big Rockville Centre, New York personality and everything he did before he retired here (eons ago) in 1985 would be impossible. He will be missed by everyone that knew him.
